We develop forward-looking energy storage systems based on innovative salt technology (NaNiCl₂) and a patented cell design.

Our system unit

The industrial module is a high-performance energy storage unit based on sodium-nickel chloride and has been specially developed for a sustainable, safe and long-lasting energy supply. The module offers a high capacity of over 40 kWh, a stable power output and an exceptionally long service life of 15 years or more – without any significant loss of capacity.

Our modularly configurable energy storage systems make it possible to temporarily store surplus energy – from photovoltaics or wind power – and make it available in a targeted manner, for example, during peak loads or in periods of high consumption. By installing several industrial modules, the storage systems can be customised to meet the respective requirements.

The specially developed battery management system, which reliably monitors and controls the operation of the entire unit, ensures maximum safety and efficiency.

The technology is based on a robust cell design that works reliably even under demanding climatic conditions – from very hot to frosty application areas. Thanks to their high thermal and chemical stability, there is no risk of fire or explosion. These properties make the energy storage system particularly suitable for applications with high safety requirements, such as in industrial parks, airports, data centres, power plants, telecommunications, energy companies and other critical infrastructures.

Solid & durable

The energy storage solutions from Saleon AG are designed for a service life of more than 15 years – with a stable capacity. The solid product design in combination with the specially developed battery management system ensures reliable operation throughout the entire life cycle. Thanks to the low maintenance requirement, operating costs remain low. This makes the systems an economically and technically convincing solution for long-term applications.
