About Swiss Saltworks: Swiss Saltworks is responsible for the safe and sustainable supply of salt in Switzerland. They produce, process and distribute high-quality salt for industry, trade and households. They also ensure the supply of road salt for winter road maintenance and are involved in research and innovation for new salt applications.

As one of the leading innovation companies in Germany, Alumina Systems is our production partner. The battery cells are manufactured and assembled directly on site. A central element of the cells is the high-performance ceramic, which is manufactured at Alumina Systems. The company also markets the battery technology in various application areas.

About Alumina Systems: Alumina Systems GmbH is a German high-tech company specialising in the development and production of high-performance ceramics and innovative energy storage solutions. With decades of experience in the processing of aluminium oxide ceramics, the company supplies customers worldwide in the energy, industrial, medical technology and research sectors.

The cooperation between Power-Blox and Saleon combines two innovative approaches to energy storage and energy networking. By combining Power-Blox’s swarm electrification technology with Saleon’s salt-based storage solution, scalable and integrated energy systems are created that enable an efficient and sustainable supply. This technology enables autonomous networking and self-organisation, allowing flexible solutions to be implemented – from self-sufficient off-grid applications to the stabilisation of regional power grids.

About Power-Blox: Power-Blox AG is a Swiss company that develops and distributes modular energy storage systems.
